Web Imp has been appointed a Pre-approved SME Go Digital vendor (a.k.a Pre-approved PSG Vendor) for Ecommerce under the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG). As an IMDA-approved vendor for e-commerce, Web Imp can provide ecommerce website solutions with up to 80% government subsidies.

Web Imp’s appointment as an approved vendor comes after passing five stages of a strict pre-approval process, which included technology demonstration and evaluation. We were evaluated on technical expertise, a display of successful case studies, and security of the solution.

Applicants who are interested in a ecommerce website solution can get up to 80% funding support when they apply for the grant.

What is the Productivity Solutions Grant?

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) supports Singapore businesses in the adoption of IT solutions or equipment that improve productivity. SMEs can receive up to 80% funding support for eligible costs.

This grant is part of the SMEs Go Digital Programme that was launched in early 2020.

The SMEs Go Digital programme aims to help SMEs use digital technologies and build stronger digital capabilities to seize growth opportunities in the digital economy.

Web Imp is an IMDA-approved solution vendor for e-commerce (online shop and marketplace) websites under the PSG scheme.

What this means for businesses.

As the businesses around the world embrace digital transformation, more retail shops are starting to rely on ecommerce to sell their products online. Having an ecommerce website gives businesses a 24/7 storefront that automatically sells to a potentially global audience.

Setting up an ecommerce website can be costly for small businesses. The 80% PSG grant helps to offset much of the costs involved with developing the ecommerce website.
