As one of the people in Web Imp with the most years working as a developer, Reza brings his wealth of knowledge to the team. Hard worker, resourceful, and a family man who loves cats!
Can you introduce yourself? What is your role, and what do you do at Web Imp?
My name is Mohammad Reza, and I am a WordPress Developer. I create WordPress websites and E-commerce websites from scratch. I also do website support for existing client websites.
What was your journey before joining Web Imp?
From January 2017 – July 2018 I worked as a software tester for a company based in the USA. From August 2018 to January 2020, I worked as technical support for a startup company based in Australia.
In December 2018, I was selected as one of 40 scholarship grantees worldwide from Facebook Developer Circles for a one-year Frontend Developer Bootcamp at OpenClassrooms, and I graduated from that Bootcamp in December 2019.
What do you most enjoy doing at web imp?
I enjoy creating websites from scratch because it’s my passion.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part is when the designers create some designs that are too complicated to develop into a webpage. If it’s something I have never created before, it will take some time to write the right code and also to test it to ensure that there’s no bug in the code.
What are some projects in Web Imp that you worked on, and are most proud of?
Bessa Live: this is the world’s first virtual exhibition for UK boarding schools. The website design was complicated and the client had high expectations and standards.
P.S. Read the case study: How we created the world’s first virtual exhibition for UK Boarding schools (BESSA)
ViSenze: this is a website for a company that provides a Visual AI solutions suite. The website design is very modern so I have to implement the latest HTML and CSS techniques.
Singapore National Biofilm Consortium: the client really liked the website that I have created for them
Was there any thing that you learned in Web Imp that you didn’t know before?

Where do you see yourself progressing in your career?
I want to become a Tech Lead because I want to improve my software engineering skills, management skills, and also to improve my career.
